On April 29, 2023, Beijing time , the inauguration ceremony of Ecosai Group's new plant in Uruguay ARTICA was held in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay in South America. Chinese Ambassador to Uruguay Wang Gang, Uruguayan Foreign Minister Bustillo, Minister of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Matos, Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Paganini, Secretary General of the Presidential Palace Delgado, Governor of Artigas Karam, Acting Mayor of Montevideo Sunino, Chairman of Xunmeiya Free Trade Zone Dowat and many other guests attended the scene. Ecosai Chairman Chen Xu, Ecosai Uruguay ARTICA plant management team, partner representatives, friendly unit representatives and a group of media friends attended the ceremony together to witness this glorious moment.
Welcome Speech
Set sail, the wind is just right
Chen Xu, Chairman of Ecosai, delivered a welcome speech. He first expressed his gratitude to all the leaders, partners and friends who have paid attention to and supported the project. He said that China and Uruguay have always maintained a friendly and mutually beneficial relationship. As the first Chinese-funded biotechnology company in Uruguay, Ecosai's investment and development here is highly consistent with the company's internationalization strategy. It has been six years since Ecosai first settled in Uruguay and established MVDMART in 2017. Our factories have increased from 1 to 2 today, with a total investment of about 20 million US dollars. We have introduced China's most advanced fully automatic production line to Uruguay. After the new project is officially put into production, Ecosai will be able to better serve Chinese and other global customers. At the same time, we have also created more jobs for the local area and served the local economic development.
In the future, Ecosai will use the Uruguay company as an important overseas blood source base to radiate South America and develop global business. We also want to take this opening ceremony as an opportunity to build a bridge of friendship and cooperation between China and Uruguay and continue to contribute to the economic development and cooperation between the two countries.

Delgado, Secretary General of the Presidential Palace of Uruguay, congratulated the successful completion of the new plant of Ecosai Artica and expressed his gratitude to Ecosai for its contribution to the economic development of Uruguay.
